Question about the new warranty: how about replacement parts?

I just had the CRT in my RGB monitor replaced (under warranty).
Normally I would have expected the replacement parts to covered for 90
days.  Am I correct in assuming that these will now be covered for one
year?

Can anyone from Apple clarify this issue?
