Figure that only people who bought their machines :in the first week of January have had any time out of warranty as yet. I'm not sure I follow. My IIx is STILL under warranty, for a few more weeks. At the very least, Apple could say, "If it's still under warranty, it's extended to a full year" but I think my solution is more ethical. --Mike
