Unless the mean 'snap in' in the sense that you cut the two wires and snap some kind of tap on the remaining leads, it would sound kind of tricky. I just had a potentiometer soldered into one of the leads for a while, and it worked just fine. Anyone else do the same? It's a little cheaper than a $45 replacement fan. PS: Thanks, Apple, for screwing us old SE owners over with the fan and than charging us $95 to get it fixed. Ever new a newer SE model? It's a lot quieter than the old one.
