R&D, Schenectady, NY Lines: 13 If you've been holding out on buying memory for your Mac until the price of SIMMs bottomed out, now may be the time to buy (actually, last week was probably the time :-). Prices of 1-MB SIMMs, which reached a low of about $61 in recent weeks, have started to creep up. The lowest price I could find yesterday (2/13) was $66 for 100ns parts (Peripheral Outlet). Supposedly the Japanese manufacturers of 1-Mbit DRAMs have cut production in order to increase prices. Apparently the shortage is starting to be felt by SIMM manufacturers... -- Mark Vita vita@crd.ge.com General Electric CRD ..!uunet!crd.ge.com!vita Schenectady, NY
