Lines: 23 A C-conversant friend, learning to program the Mac by tackling a DA, asked me to post this request-- Looking for (Think) C source code for the following routines, to be implemented in a multifinder-friendly DA (Sys 7.0 notwithstanding): ^^ 1. centering a window on an arbitrary screen (i.e., any size); 2. putting up a modeless dialog box with a user item that will show scrollable and editable text read in from a text file. Any help or pointers to applicable source code greatly appreciated! Hints, tricks, warnings, tips, &c also welcome. Thanks! (Sounds a little like Bill Steinberg's "DisplayDA" ["System Errors"], with user editability and external file access thrown in.) Replies of broad interest to the net, or mail me and I'll pass 'em on... John Clark clark@rand.org
