Ftp sites are: cc.purdue.edu, cs.orst.edu, umd5.umd.edu. There are also some interesting things at sutro.sfsu.edu, sumex.stanford.edu and winnie.princeton.edu to name a few. There is also an email server running at cc.purdue.edu. Send mail with the subject of "help" to "archive-server@cc.purdue.edu" for information on how to access files from there. The email archive typically has everything that is available for ftp on cc.purdue.edu. Because of disk space considerations, I may make some of the large applications available only on nova.cc.purdue.edu, so you may occasionally want to take a peek there. Anonymous ftp is available on nova.cc.purdue.edu, but please be nice to it - it is the box on my desk that I try to use to get real work done, also. gerrit
