             The Parallel Processing Connection

                  7:30 PM March 12th 1990
                  Inmos RTC, Sunnyvale, CA.


This month's meeting will feature a candid look at the pros and cons
of Single Instruction Multiple Data vs. Multiple Instruction Multiple
Data systems.  Jason Cockroft of MIMD Systems will address the issues
involved in MIMD and Dr. Ken Jacobson of MasPar will present the SIMD
view of the world.

Directions to the Inmos RTC:  The Inmos RTC is located in Bldg. 2620,
Suite 100, Across the street from the Digital Building which is visible
from 101.  From 101 take the Bowers/Great American Parkway exit going
west.  Turn left on Augustine Dr, the first light, there is a Denny's 
on the corner.  Building 2620 is on your right.
