Message-ID: <5133@emory.mathcs.emory.edu> Date: 13 Mar 90 14:30:19 GMT Organization: Math & Computer Science, Emory University, Atlanta, GA Lines: 14 Are there any relatively low cost parallel systems for a Sun based network? I know about the transputer based systems from Paracom, which are reasonably low cost. On the other hand the Intel hypercubes are quite steep in cost. Our inital budget is <$40K and that buys almost two nodes from Intel. Any advise on Paracom, or other alternatives would be appreciated. -- Ken Mandelberg | km@mathcs.emory.edu PREFERRED Emory University | {decvax, gatech}!emory!km UUCP Dept of Math and CS | km@emory.bitnet NON-DOMAIN BITNET Atlanta, GA 30322 | Phone: (404) 727-7963
