I also have these documents, and as far as I know, they are the latest. While very useful, they lack details applicable to i386 machines. If you're seriously getting into drivers for 386/ix, I regard the following document mandatory: AT&T UNIX System V/386 Release 3.2 Integrated Software Developers Guide Its got sample sources to some drivers, and outlines all the 386-specific development and installation info for System V drivers. It is available from Interactive. Interactive's "386/ix Software Development System Guide" supplements this info for 386/ix. If you're developing communications drivers for 386/ix, you'll need to get up to speed on AT&T STREAMS. The relevant books are: AT&T UNIX System V/386 Release 3.2 STREAMS Primer AT&T UNIX System V/386 Release 3.2 STREAMS Programmer's Guide These are the "bibles" for such work.
