Systems, Burke, VA Lines: 32 First off let me thank those of you who responded to my posting, letting me know that I was, in fact, reaching the outside world. Second, having been properly chastized by a gentleman in Stirling, VA for the length of my posting, I will attempt to be more concise. I apollogize in advance if any of these questions are old, but I'm new to Unix and the net. I have: Bell Tech Unix System V.3.2u w/ Software development set on a 20 MHz AMAX 386 Motherboard w/ 4Mb, MFM controller, ST4096, Monochrome adapter. I would like: The ability to drive a Orchid Prodesigner+ under X11 (VGA drivers are not included w/ Bell Tech Unix). SCSI capability, with about a 300Mb drive and a Tape Backup Unit also on the SCSI bus. Bell Tech also does not support SCSI, so I need to find drivers for that as well. Questions: Are VGA and SCSI/Tape/Disk drivers readily available for Bell Tech Unix, and where can I get them? Is there a good X11 package that will install under Bell Tech? What are good SCSI controller/drive/TBU combinations? Is there a better, non-interlaced, card than the Orchid PD+ for the price? That's all for now. Mail answers/comments/questions/etc directly to me, and I'll summarize if there's interest. Thanks in advance. Stephen M. Youndt uunet!hacker!steve "Hacker at Large" VMS System Programmer
