I just built X11R4, but trying to run it by various means always gives me the error: "ld.so: libXmu.so.4 not found". After the build, there was indeed a libXmu.so.4.0 in /usr/lib. I copied it to the name that ld.so was complaining about, but that didn't help. Is "0" the correct minor version number for 4.0.3c? Should I be using shared code and libraries? The build seemed to go flawlessly, so I don't know what's going on here. I used the site.def and sun.cf files as is off the tape, as they seemed to be correct for my setup. I have a "gx" type console, which uses /dev/cgsix0. Anybody know what's going on? Stephan Greene CMU
