Tain't a problem with the Text Widget Insert File widget. The problem was in the default fallback resources. There are too many wildcards and these cause the fallback resources to be used with the InsertFile dialog. The scrollVertical,scrollHor- izontal and autoFill resources *should* have been specified as "*paned.text.scrollVertical: whenNeeded" "*paned.text.scrollHorizontal: whenNeeded" "*paned.text.autoFill: on" The explicit path prevents the resources being applied to the InsertFile dialog. (At least that's the way I think it works.)
